Kathy Carvalho is a Chemistry student at Unicap/PE, currently dedicates herself to art-science and wearable art, her multidisciplinary research dialogues with biology, engineering and fashion. Although her trajectory is permeated by self-teaching, she was associated to some institutions that were her learning support, namely: Visual Arts in FAP-PR, Textile Conservation at Casa de yayá at USP-SP, Visual Anthropology at Flacso-AR, Textile Technician at SENAI, Costume Design at Unifesp and research group in Textile Art at UFPE.
She has experience in the educational area since 2013, conducting creativity workshops with sustainable bias at spaces such as Mamusca in Pinheiros/SP, Sesc and Murillo la greca Museum, also, through public policies, working at the Educative of the Museum of the City of São Paulo. She has collaborated with physical-chemical tests on discarded tires for the elaboration of ecobags and pochettes at Recio Diseño in Mexico, Nayarit, and has contributed in writing the article of the interdisciplinary areas "The insertion of the discipline Metrology in Production Engineering courses in Brazil".
